Community Contribution

Guided by the belief that “the power of the community is essential to achieving sustainable, competitive manufacturing,” Micro Technology actively engages in Community Contribution, including the hiring of local talent and sponsoring of local events.
We view each office not merely as a production base, but as a foundation for developing businesses rooted in each particular area—respecting the region’s unique culture, history, and climate—and aiming for the growth of both the company and the broader community.

Nagaoka’s Pride: Fireworks of Gratitude Convey our Feelings

The Nagaoka Festival—held every year in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture. Imbued with wishes for recovery from the Nagaoka air raid and for the repose of souls, this fireworks festival is an event that holds a special meaning for citizens. Since the establishment of the Nagaoka Office, Micro Technology has continued to sponsor the festival every year. This also conveys our strong commitment to grow together with the community into the future.
As a member of the local community, we will continue to share and support Nagaoka’s proud fireworks extravaganza together with our employees, their families, and local residents.

Committed to Generating Local Employment

We conduct local recruitment activities at our locations around Japan, and through employee capability development and career support, we are also dedicated to cultivating talent who will hold the reins of the next-generation of manufacturing.
We will continue contributing to further development of the local economy by providing stable employment opportunities and raising incomes.

Actively Taking Part in Local Events

At the MICRO Group, we produce accessories from glass offcuts generated during the processing process. One of our sales channels involves running booths at local markets and craft fairs. As a processing manufacturer, participation in these events is a valuable opportunity for MICRO for meeting directly with customers.
As members of the same community, we aim to work together to enhance the appeal of the region.

Involvement with Local School Education

Some offices have hosted social studies field trips for high school students. Students shared feedback such as, “I was amazed to see firsthand how the products I use every day are made.” By showcasing the manufacturing process, we believe we helped enhance understanding of work and the structure of local industry. Actively engaging in students’ education in this way is also an important Community Contribution initiative.
