Since our founding in 1966, Micro Technology has made glass processing and thin-film wiring the core of our business, evolving in line with the developments in the electronics industry.

Our history is also a legacy of taking on bold challenges into the “unknown.” About half a century ago, we made the decision to enter the completely uncharted “liquid crystal” field in search of new possibilities. As the applications of liquid crystal technology expanded from mobile phones to car navigation systems and televisions, we were active in developing related businesses such as touch panels and cover glass, thereby broadening our business horizons.

And now we have chosen “glass core substrates,” which are drawing intense global attention for achieving next-generation semiconductors as our future mainstay business, that will become the stage for taking on new challenges. 
Establishing this innovative new technology requires extremely advanced technical capabilities and free thinking free from the constraints of preconceptions. This is “Craftsmanship” honed over many years working with glass.
